Cycling Event: Meet at 11:00 am in the hotel lobby.
1) We are meeting at 11:00 in the front of the Grand Hyatt- ready to go- tires pumped!
2) Bikes and E bikes are welcome. We will be riding on paved bike paths/roads
3) We will take the bike path that is behind the hotel to Lionshead/Vail Village (2 Miles)/ East vail (5 miles)/the Gate (2miles)/ the cul de sac (3 miles) total of 12 miles each way -1,700 elevation gain
4) Bring water/warm clothes/snack /raincoat- we will not be riding in the rain/snow
Straight riding this should be a 2-3 hour ride, slow up-fast down!
This is an out and back, at any time you can turn back- the last three miles is a grind up the pass!
Hike Event:Meet in the lobby at 11:00.
Meet in the hotel lobby. Please plan to bring shoes you don’t mind getting muddy, an extra pair of socks, rain gear, gloves and water. We should be back to the hotel by 1 or 1:30 pm.
